Stocks rallied today on hopes that the republican agenda might be gaining a little bit of traction. Rumors of a revived health care bill and then reports of progress on the tax reform front had market participants feeling a little frisky as the trading session wore on.

By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 174 points to finish the day at 20,578. The S&P 500 was up 17 points to close at 2,355. Gold was down $1 to trade at $1,282 per ounce, while oil was down $.17 to trade at $50.26 per barrel WTI.

Let’s see how the week wraps up tomorrow.

Have a nice evening everyone.
