Stocks Mixed

Jun 7, 2018 | Market Commentary

Friends

Stocks were mixed today as the momentum/tech names stumbled a bit, while some blue chip names like McDonalds, Chevron and Home Depot kept the Dow in positive territory. Traders seem now to be focused on the upcoming G7 meeting and the Korean summit.

For the day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 94 points to close at 25,241. The S&P 500 was down 2 points to finish the day at 2,769. Gold was down a fraction to trade at $1,301 per ounce, while oil was up $1.23 to trade at $65.96 per barrel WTI.

It’s still been a good week for the bulls. Let’s see how they finish it out tomorrow.

Have a nice evening everyone.
