As expected it was extremely quiet again today, but at least stocks are drifting upward instead of down. With just one more trading day it appears that 2017 is going to go quietly into the night.
As for today, by the close the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 63 points to finish the day at 24,837. The S&P 500 was up 4 points to close at 2,687. Gold was up $5 to trade at $1,297 per ounce, while oil was up $.25 to trade at $59.89 per barrel WTI.
Not expecting much, but we’ll let you know how everything finishes up tomorrow.
