As we mentioned yesterday, in addition to pausing to see what happens at the G20 meeting in Japan, stocks seem to be cautiously navigating the waters into quarter end. Today’s trading session saw little volatility, with the broader market doing better than the Dow, which was dragged down by more issues at Boeing. But, all in all a quiet trading session.
By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 10 points to finish the day at 26,526. The S&P 500 was up 11 points to close at 2,924. Gold was down $4 to trade at $1,411 per ounce, while oil was down $.10 to trade at $59.28 per barrel WTI.
It’s been a good month for the bulls, but let’s see how we finish out the week and the quarter tomorrow.
Have a nice evening everyone.
