New Highs

Friends

What has been impressive about the bullish market that has unfolded over the past five months is how quickly any selloff is bought. We have only seen a few down days recently and when we do the damage has been more than erased with a day or two. This week has been just another example as we see the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 hitting new all-time highs after taking a beating on Tuesday.

By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 130 points to finish the day at 38,791. The S&P 500 was up 52 points to close at 5,157. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 241 points to close at 16,273. Gold was up $8 to trade at $2,166 per ounce, while oil was down $.19 to trade at $78.94 per barrel WTI.

As we have said for months now – the bulls still hold the high ground. Let’s see how the week finishes out tomorrow.

Have a nice evening everyone.
