Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Friends

Well, as expected, stocks drifted higher into the Thanksgiving holiday. A strong durable goods number and an upwardly revised 3rd quarter GDP number helped set the positive tone for stocks at the open. And, as was the case all week long, the market averages held the early gains but did little else the rest of the trading session.

By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 42 points to finish the day at 28,164. The S&P 500 was up 13 points to close at 3,153. Gold was down $6 to trade at $1,461 per ounce, while oil was down $.26 to trade at $58.15 per barrel WTI.

As we give thanks on this wonderful holiday, we here at CHJ always want to make sure you, our clients, know how much we appreciate you and how much we want to thank you for trusting us to guide you on your road to financial success.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.
