Stocks rallied at the open of this shortened trading session, but reversed course and fell into negative territory by the closing bell. As expected trading was very light. 

By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 132 points to finish the day at 24,174. The S&P 500 was down 13 points to close at 2,713. Gold was up $13 to trade at $1,255 per ounce, while oil was down $.24 to trade at $73.70 per barrel WTI. 

Remember, markets are closed for the July 4th holiday. We’ll be back at it on Thursday.
