How about that? A big up day for the bulls. Now the test will be can they post some gains tomorrow and put 2 up days together. We’ve talked about vicious rallies that accompany pullbacks/corrections/bear markets. What we need to see before getting excited, is some follow through to the upside.
By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 431 points to finish the day at 24,874. The S&P 500 was up 41 points to close at 2,682. Gold was down $2 to trade at $1,225 per ounce, while oil was down $.86 to trade at $66.18 per barrel WTI.
We’ll talk tomorrow about what has happened in October and the markets in general in our conference call. We’ll send a reminder in the morning. Hope you can join us. If you can’t join us, give us a call when you have a moment and we’ll fill you in on what transpired.
Have a nice evening everyone.
