Our 14th Anniversary at CHJ

Friends

Today marks our 14th anniversary here at CHJ. Fourteen years ago today, we opened our office here in The Woodlands. Our mission was to create a firm that delivered the best service in the industry and make sure our clients were able to put their heads on their pillow at night knowing that we were attending to their financial future. We have grown from a firm that began with just a bit more than $100 million in assets under management to a firm that now has more than $530 million in assets under management. But what is most important to us is you. Many of you have been with us for the entire journey and we can’t thank you enough for letting us be your guide on your final journey. As we enter our 15th year, we will continue to strive to deliver to you the best overall experience that the industry has to offer.

As for today, the markets were quiet with a bit of a negative bias to them. By the close the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 61 points to finish the day at 40,834. The S&P 500 was down 11 points to close at 5,597. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 59 points to close at 17,816. Gold was up $11 to trade at $2,552 per ounce, while oil was down $.55 to trade at $ 73.82 per barrel WTI.

Again, thank you all for being part of our success here at CHJ. If you aren’t already a client, now is a good time to come on board and be part of the CHJ family. If you know someone who we can help (planning retirement, going through divorce, inheriting some money, or just trying to set up a plan to save for retirement and secure their family) feel free to reach out to let us know.

Have a nice evening everyone.
