Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Nov 22, 2023 | Market Commentary

Friends

It was another good day for the bulls and a nice way to slide into Thanksgiving. Stocks moved higher from the open and stayed nicely in positive territory for the entire trading session. It was indeed a nice rally into Thanksgiving, which as we have mentioned, is quite common. Now we will see if the bulls can keep up the momentum into the end of the year. The market will be open for a half day of trading on Friday, but we will be back reporting to you on Monday.

As for today, by the close the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 184 points to finish the day at 35,273. The S&P 500 was up 18 points to close at 4,556. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 65 points to close at 14,265. Gold was down $9 to trade at $1992 per ounce, while oil was down $.95 to trade at $76.82 per barrel WTI.

Let me take this opportunity to wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving from all of us at CHJ. We are so honored that you allow us to be part of your financial journey and grateful that you are all part of the CHJ family. We hope you are able to enjoy the holidays with your family and loved ones.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone.
