Stocks Reverse Recent Pattern

Mar 25, 2021 | Market Commentary

Friends
We had a bit of a change of pace today with regards to market action. Instead of a late in the day fade, we had weakness in the morning, but a recovery in the afternoon. If you’re a bull, that is the pattern that you would rather see.
By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 199 points to finish the day at 32,619. The S&P 500 was up 20 points to close at 3,909. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 15 points to close at 12,977. Gold was down $8 to trade at $1,724 per ounce, while oil was down $2.73 to trade at $58.45 per barrel WTI.
The bulls broke the trend today, but they still have some work to do to avoid a second straight losing week for stocks. Let’s see how the week finishes out tomorrow.
Have a nice evening everyone.
