More of the Same

Friends

Boy, it has been a quiet week. Yesterday the Dow was up a bit and the S&P was down a tad, and today it was just the opposite. New issues continue to pop (Bumble today), SPACS continue to be formed and craziness in pot stocks is this week’s sideshow, but the overall market has had a less than exciting week.

By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 7 points to finish the day at 31,430. The S&P 500 was up 6 points to close at 3,916. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 53 points to close at 14,025. Gold was down $16 to trade at $1,826 per ounce, while oil was down $.76 to trade at $57.92 per barrel WTI.

We still have a few big earnings reports to look for including Disney after the close. Again, it has been a very good earnings season and the bulls have been able to build on that. Let’s see how the week finishes out tomorrow.

Have a nice evening everyone.
