Bulls Trying To Finish Strong

Jun 29, 2020 | Market Commentary

Friends

It’s been a back and forth month for stocks as we push towards tomorrow’s finish line. The bulls decided to do a little last minute bargain hunting today, but as we have seen over the past several weeks, trends seem to last until the next headline these days.

For the day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 580 points to close at 25,595. The S&P 500 was up 44 points to finish the day at 3,053. Gold was up $2 to trade at $1,782 per ounce, while oil was up $1 to trade at $39.49 per barrel WTI.

As mentioned tomorrow is the last day of the month and the quarter. Though June has been a wash, the quarter in general has been a good one for stocks. Let’s see if the bulls can assert themselves tomorrow and finish off the quarter on a high note.

Have a nice evening everyone.
