Good April Ends Soft

Apr 30, 2020 | Market Commentary

Friends
Stocks didn’t end the month of April on a high note, but all in all it was a good month for stocks. I have a few thoughts in the video attached.
For the day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 288 points to finish the day at 24,345. The S&P 500 was down 27 points to close at 2,912. Gold was down $17 to trade at $1,695 per ounce, while oil was up $3.71 to trade at $18.77 per barrel WTI.
Facebook and Tesla had very good earnings after the close yesterday, and today we get Amazon and Apple after the close. We’ll let you know how the week finishes out and the month of May starts tomorrow.
Have a nice evening everyone.
