Stocks Finish The Week On A Streak

Once again, stocks drifted higher and once again, it appeared that it was simply a matter of no sellers to be found. The final look at 3rd quarter GDP was unchanged and other than that, as we have mentioned, there really was not going to be anything that would greatly influence stocks this week. So, without any real resistance, stocks continued to forge their way higher.

By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 77 points to finish the day at 28,454. The S&P 500 was up 15 points to close at 3,221. Gold was down $3 to trade at $1,481 per ounce, while oil was down $.83 to trade at $60.35 per barrel WTI.

Santa will be coming to town next week, and we’ll see if he has any additional presents for the bulls. In the meantime, get your shopping done and enjoy time with your loved ones as we prepare for Christmas.

Have a great weekend everyone.
