The Dow weighed down by the drop in price of shares of Boeing showed losses today, but the rest of the market had an upward tilt to it. Investors are aware that we are heading into difficult earnings season but for the moment don’t seem to upset about it. For the day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 83 points to close at 26,341. The S&P 500 gained for the 8th day in a row, with the index up 3 points to finish the day at 2,895. Gold was up $6 to trade at $1,301 per ounce, while oil was up $1.35 to trade at $64.43 per barrel WTI.
