Tough Day

May 18, 2018 | Market Commentary

Friends

It was a quiet day in the markets, and given the tragic events that unfolded at the Santa Fe High School this morning, we’ll just give you the numbers and respectfully call it a day.

By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 1 point to finish the day at 24,715. The S&P 500 was down 7 points to close at 2,712. Gold was up $2 to trade at $1,292 per ounce, while oil was down $.15 to trade at $71.34 per barrel WTI.

Have a great weekend everyone, and hug a loved one.
