Merry Christmas

Dec 22, 2017 | Market Commentary

Friends

As expected, the markets were extremely quiet today. President Trump signed into law the tax bill and headed to Florida for the Christmas weekend. Other than that, there just wasn’t much going on.

For the day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 27 points to close at 24,754. The S&P 500 was down 1 point to close at 2,683. Gold was up $8 to trade at $1,279 per ounce, while oil was down $.05 to trade at $58.31 per barrel WTI.

Let me take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas from all of us here at CHJ. Enjoy the time with your families and be safe. We’ll check in with you next week.

Have a great Christmas weekend everyone.
