Great Thanks To Our Veterans

Nov 10, 2017 | Market Commentary

Friends

First and foremost on this Veterans Day, we would just like to thank each and every man and woman who have served our great country. They have protected this country’s freedom since its birth, and we owe them our gratitude.

The markets were quiet for the most part today, as traders now simply wait to see if the Republicans can actually deliver a tax reform bill. For the day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 39 points to close at 23,422. The S&P 500 was down 2 points to finish the day at 2,582. Gold was down $11 to trade at $1,276 per ounce, while oil was down $.34 to trade at $56.83 per barrel WTI.

This was the first down week in months for the market averages, though not enough to get the bears excited. We had a few retailers report this week, but we get a whole slew of them reporting next week including Walmart and Target. Let’s see what next week has in store for us. Enjoy the beautiful weather and enjoy your weekend everyone.
