Coasting Into Month-End

Jun 27, 2014 | Market Commentary

Friends

We did see a little more volatility this week, but today was mostly uneventful. Stocks spent most of the day in negative territory, only to rally a little into the close.

By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 5 points to finish the day at 16,851. The S&P 500 was up 3 points to close at 1960. Gold was up $2 to trade at $1319 per ounce, while oil was down $.09 to trade at $105.75 per barrel WTI.

With one more trading day left in the quarter, the bulls still hold the high ground, despite several attempts by the bears to stir things up. We’ll let you know how the quarter ends on Monday. In the meantime…

Have a great weekend everyone.
