Friends

The Santa Claus rally continues, though trading was quiet as expected on this half day Christmas Eve session. By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 63 points to finish the day at 16,358. The S&P 500 was up 5 to close at 1833. Gold was up $7 to trade at $1204 per ounce, while oil was up $.35 to trade at $99.26 per barrel WTI.

I just want to take this opportunity to say Merry Christmas to all of you, from all of us here at CHJ. I hope everyone has a great time with their loved ones. The markets will be open for a full day of trading on Thursday. We’ll let you know how the rest of the trading week goes.

Merry Christmas
