Hope Rally Continues

Friends

As we head into the weekend, traders continue to believe that the politicians will have a solution for us by next week. Stocks followed through on yesterday’s powerful rally, and in just two trading sessions, market averages have seen quite a bit of repair. Now, will we actually have a solution, however short term it may be, by next week? Only time will tell, but let’s hope the market isn’t using up all the good news before it is official.

For the day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 111 points to close at 15,237. The S&P 500 was up 10 points to finish the day at 1703. Gold was down $28 to trade at $1269 per ounce, while oil was down $1.18 to trade at $101.83 per barrel WTI. How about the Dow exploding over 15,000 again and the S&P being able to recapture 1700? Impressive.

Monday is a holiday, but the stock market is open and we’ll be here. Have a nice weekend everyone and let’s hope our politicians get the job done.
